This cooks so quickly and evenly that my 20 min rice cooks in about 13 minutes! Clean up is super easy and it feels great to handle and super high quality. The only thing is that the lid does not fit tightly and maybe thats on purpose?

It's a well built piece of cookware, and performs better than regular stainless steel. Not sure I like the shape of the bowl though - a little too rounded for me. Others liked it more for that very same reason though, so...

This stainless steel surface stains rather easily compared to some other stainless steel cookware I own, but I'm not gonna sweat it, because I wash and dry as soon as I'm done cooking, and know it's clean and well kept. And the stains aren't really a big deal, but it still detracts for the sake of writing a review and all.

I am a Calphalon fan and love all of my pieces from their Contemporary line. They cook flawlessly, they clean flawlessly and they are beautiful to view when not in use. I upgraded from my old hard anodized set to this one and I couldn't be happier. Yes it is a bit pricey but this is a set that you will truly have for a lifetime, so it pays for itself time and time again. If you are waivering, don't. You'll be glad you did, I know I am.

This is my favorite pot! It's beautiful, heats up quickly, and cleans up easily. Stains a bit, as stainless does, but a bit of barkeeper's friend does the trick! Unbelievable piece. Makes me want the entire set, which is what these "try it" promo prices are all about. Buy it ... you won't be sorry, but will want more!
